Watch, wonder, and enjoy
A 90 minute tour of the brewery lets you take a look behind the scenes. The tour starts with a short multimedia show and then takes visitors to the brewery, the storage cellar, and the filling station. Visitors are provided with a lot of specialist knowledge on brewery craftsmanship as well as the sophisticated, technical processes that take place here. At the end of the tour, you can enjoy a “Tannenzäpfle” (little fir cone), a Pilsner-style beer, at the Zäpfle Bar. Spaces are limited, so please book beforehand.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The serving of alcoholic beverages takes place in strict accordance with the German Protection of Young Persons Act. Unfortunately, due to prevailing safety regulations, the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or visitors with buggies. Due to the dynamic nature of the brewing process, it is possible that the filling station is not in operation during the tour.
The location of our brewery is second to none. A walk along across the brewery grounds bears witness to this. The Zäpfle Path leads you through a particularly charming landscape right in the middle of the Black Forest Highlands. Nine stations and three pavilions offer a wealth of information on raw materials, the art of brewing, and environmental regulations. It is also possible to take a look at the filling station, where up to 60,000 bottles whizz past the panoramic window every hour. The tour also leads past the “Zäpflebrunnen” (Zäpfle Fountain), a popular photo motif, as well as past the water source region of our excellent brewing water.
Walking time: ca. 1/2 hour
